There's no other way to put it... I'm addicted to hot, spicy food... and I'm sure I'm not alone.
Not even a bacon sandwich can pass my lips now without my colleague Anne Barett's mad home made West Indian chilli sauce (spam and tom with chilli sauce is the new favourite at work).

Had a fantastic meal to celebrate an "old" friend's birthday on Saturday night! We went to Gimbals in Sowerby Bridge.
It's a quite small, but very busy restaurant on Wharf Street (the main road) serving really good, down to earth food. It has very friendly sevice and a happy, buzzing atmosphere.
I had home potted beef with piccallili and olive bread to start with, followed by gorgeous lamb chops, with a minted pea puree and potato dauphinoise. Everyone else was suitably impressed with their own choices.
