Australian school outlaws hugging in 'inappropriate behavior ban'
AN Australian school banned hugging and other displays of affection between preteen boys and girls in order to set a good example for younger students.
Largs Bay Primary School in the southern city of Adelaide said the policy is aimed at grade six and seven students, aged 11 to 12.

Principal Julie Gail said the students were spoken to about "inappropriate behaviour" in boyfriend and girlfriend relationships in a meeting at the start of the new term last week.
The hugging ban mirrors restrictions by some US schools that have also outlawed hugs, kisses and physical horseplay.
